<F2> Rename selected file (in Windows) or edit selected cell (in Excel).
<Shift>-<F3> For any highlighted text, cycle among all-caps, lowercase, and title case. Click Format•Change Case for more options.
<F5> Refresh your page in Explorer and Web browser windows.
<Ctrl>-<Esc> Open the Start menu (useful if your mouse won’t respond).
<Ctrl>-<Space> Reset the highlighted text to the default font (in Word).
<Ctrl>-mouse wheel Zoom in and out.

How to change the User Login in Win XP
If Customer wants the classic way of login: Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to login
In the control panel, click on "User Account" on this control, under "Pick Task"
select "Change the way users log on and off". On this window uncheck "use welcome screen" and "Use fast user switching". This will revert you back to the traditional WinNT/Win2000 style of logging in.
OR
Start -> Run -> Regedit and change the following value: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon look for "LogonType" in there and change the DWORD value from 1 to 0 (double click on it and enter 0 in popup the)...after a restart you should have the classic logon-box...
If Customer don’t want the classic way of login:Reverse the steps:
Start>>Control Panel >>User Accounts >>Select Change the way users log on and log off>>Check the option>>Use Welcome screen & Use Fast user switchingThen restart the computer.You will not get the traditional style of logging in.
>>WindowsNT>>CurrentVersion>>Winlogon and look for “LogonType” in their change the DWORD value from 0 to 1.Then restart the computer.
Recover the lost administrators password
The password you think as Administrator Password it is also a user with Administrator To see real Administrator go to safe mode where you will find Admin user.
If you forget or lost your administrative password, to recover password
1.First reboot Windows XP in safe mode by re-starting the computer and pressing F8 repeated as the computer starts up.
2. Then (in safe mode)
Click Start and then click Run.
In the open box type "control userpasswords2" without the quotes
OR Go to Control panel->User Accounts to change the Password
3.You will now have access to all the user accounts, including the administrators account and will be able to
reset the lost password.
4.Just click the administrators user account, and then click Reset Password.
5.You will need to add a new password in the New password and the Confirm new password boxes, and confirm by clicking OK. All done, you have recovered the lost adminitrators password!
Dirtectx Dxdiag show file missing Error
Solution:Go to www.dll-files.com and type the dll file that is missing in the directx and place it under windows/system32/ now restart the computer
Steps to resolve problem 1. Goto c:>windows>system32> You find a file help.exe right click it and open with any editor like notepad
2. Save as the file as help.bat
3. Copy both help.exe and help.bat
4. Paste it in all partitions like c:,d:,E; etc
5. Start>run>cmd>c:>help
there u are u recovered help
Step 2: * Put xp cd in drive * When xp screen appears click install it. * Select upgrade recommended * click ok * type the xp key now wait for nearly one hour xp is completing its installation and u got ur xp back without error
Changing File format and extend the space of the Hard disk

Just get a xp cd from your freind or from whatsoever boot from xp cd
steps 1.Place xp cd and press restart .
step 2.Boot from cd menu appears press any key if u dont find the option when you restarted just restart and press del or f2 or f1 key to enter bios settings and change the priority to cdrom first and then harddisk and restart and
do step1
In next press enter and then after first menu
enter xp setup and "press R repair xp"
4.wait some minutes after repairing
